Mark Berman MD trained in physical therapy (McGill), medicine (Yale) and primary-care internal medicine and population medicine (Harvard’s Brigham & Women’s Hospital). He completed a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship at UCSF and spent time at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation working on obesity prevention policy as Special Assistant to the CEO. He is currently VP of Health at Mark One Lifestyle Inc. and a director of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. He also practices Lifestyle Medicine & Obesity Medicine at One Medical Group in San Francisco. Mark was born in South Africa and grew up in Canada. He is passionate about plant-based diets, active living, health information technology and creating positive change in the world.
